As the default, CimEdit and CimView look in the following directories to find a file when instructed to open a screen:

1. First relative to the directory of the current screen,

2. Then relative to the project's Screens directory.

You cannot change the first search location (relative to the directory of the current screen) and, in most cases, you will want to leave the default second location (relative to the project's Screens directory) intact. However, if you need to change the second location you can by editing the GMMI_SCREENS logical name.
