Important: The F key number that is associated with a button corresponds to the button's position in all of the 12 button views. This convention holds even when a button position is not filled.

Display Chapter buttons and keys

Chapter buttons and keys display relevant topics for the CNC.

Example

1. (If the Fct button view displays) do one of the following to display the Chp button view.

Click the Fct button .

Press F1.

The Chp button view displays.

2. Click the following chapter buttons or press the following keys to display the related screens in the Fanuc Basic Operation Package window

Display Function buttons and keys

The function buttons that display depend on what chapter is selected when the function buttons are enabled.

Example

1. Display the Chp button view.

2. Do one of the following to select one of the chapters.

Click one of the Chp buttons, e.g. Position.

Press the key assigned to the selected chapter, e.g. F2.

3. Do one of the following to display the Fct button view.

Click Chp.

Press F1.

Result: The Function toolbar displays the buttons related to the selected chapter.

The Fct view displays the following buttons for the Position chapter button.

Related F keys are determined by the button's position on the button bar.

Display Operation Buttons and Keys

The operation buttons that display depend on what Chapter>Function buttons are selected.

Example

1. Display the Chp button view.

2. Do one of the following to select one of the chapters.

Click one of the Chp buttons, e.g. Setting.

Press the key assigned to the selected chapter, e.g. F4.

3. Display the Fct button view related to the selected chapter button.

4. Do one of the following to select one of the Fct buttons.

Click one of the Fct buttons, e.g. Macro.

Press the key assigned to the selected button, e.g. F5.

5. Do one of the following.

Click Opr.

Press F12.

The Opr button view associated with the function button displays.

The view displays the following.

This view displays the :

Fct button as button F1.

Chp button as button F12.

Available buttons associated with the selected chapter between Fct and Chp.

Re-display the Chp or Fct button views when in the Opr button view

Do one of the following to re-display the Chp button view.

Click Fct.

Press F1.

Do one of the following to re-display the Fct view.

Click Chp.
