Displays the current state of the point.
The point's current state depends on its point class and alarm conditions.
For all point classes, the states that can be displayed are:
NORMAL |
The point's value is within normal limits, and no alarms are outstanding. |
UNAVAILABLE |
If the point is a device point, communications with the device have failed, and the point can no longer be read. If the point is a virtual point, one or more of the source points that comprise this point is unavailable. |
For Analog and APPL point classes, the additional states that can be displayed are:
ALARM HIGH |
The point's value is greater than the high alarm limit. |
ALARM LOW |
The point's value is less than the low alarm limit. |
WARNING HIGH |
The point's value is greater than the warning high limit and less than the alarm high limit. |
WARNING LOW |
The point's value is less than the warning low limit and greater than the alarm low limit. |
OUT OF RANGE |
The point is an Analog or APPL device point with engineering units conversion, and its value exceeds one of its conversion limits. |
For the Digital (Boolean) point class, the additional states that can be displayed are:
ALARM |
The point's value is in the alarm state. |
WARNING |
You will only see this message if Enable Alarms has been reset, Enable Warning is set, and the point's value is in the alarm state. |
