Port

Resource

Enter a resource that can be associated with this device for alarm generation.

You can click the Pop-up Menu button to create a new resource, edit the current resource, or select a resource from the list of resources.

Model Type

Select the type of device. Click the drop-down button to the right of the input field to display your choices, then make a selection.

The choices are:

ADVANCED

DDE Client communications only communicates with the DDE Server using the AdvancedDDE format.

DEFAULT

DDE Client communications negotiates with the DDE Server to decide the format of the communication.

TEXT

DDE Client communications only communicates with the DDE Server using the TEXT format.
