Because the CIMPLICITY Database Logger option writes to ODBC-compliant databases, you may use database-specific reporting mechanisms to generate custom reports for your site.

Alternately, you may use any ODBC-compliant application to generate reports.

CIMPLICITY Database Logger provides three sample reports that are ODBC-compliant when using Excel in Microsoft Office 2000.

Important: Excel report files included with the CIMPLICITY Database Logger are available for Microsoft Office 2000 only.

The files are stored in the Report sub-directory of your CIMPLICITY distribution directory.

The report files are:

Excel 2000 Version	A Report for Use with CIMPLICITY
SQLALARM.XLS	Alarm tables.
SQLDATA.XLS	Data tables.
SQLGROUP.XLS	Group tables.

These samples are fully functional as shipped.

You can:

Use the reports with SQL Server to report on any tables you have configured.

Copy and modify the reports to meet your specific needs.

Save generated reports in Excel for later use, print them, or perform further analysis on your data.
