Purpose

Determines what Broadcast will do when there is a data fetch error.

Broadcast does the following based on whether you disable or enable BCO_DATA_FETCH_ERROR.

 

Disable BCO_DATA_FETCH_ERROR

 

Even when there is a data fetch error

Jobs are sent to the device.

An alarm and log are generated.

 

 

Note: In a normal scenario (BCO_DATA_FETCH_ERROR is disabled or enabled) the following occurs.

 

 

Whether or not there is an error, W or A is added to the filename, as follows.

Enable BCO_DATA_FETCH_ERROR

 

When there is a data fetch error the following occurs.

 

Jobs:

Do not go to the device.

A zero is added to the filename, before the W or A. (W and A are described in the Disable BCO_DATA_FETCH_ERROR section.)

Stay in the active folder of the device.

This does not allow any of the subsequent jobs to be sent to the device.

A log is generated in the cor log.

An alarm is generated.

The user must:

1.   Open the file manually

2.   Enter correct data for the objects / fields which had data fetch error

3.   Rename the file by removing the appended 0,

Result: the jobs will start being posted to the device.
