The following diagram illustrates the process when an object is instantiated.

1. A Class Developer creates a class. Class features may include:

A	Selected class.
B	The following can be customized for each object if the class configuration allows it.
	Attributes Data items (object points) Event Alarms Actions
C	Each Script applies to all objects in a class.

2. An Object Designer creates and configures one or more objects based on the class.

Configuration begins in the Object dialog box.

How many and the content of fields that ask for specifications specific to the object being configured depend on the class configuration.
