For reliability, security and ease of configuration, both nodes (i.e. the node where CIMPLICITY is installed and the node where the OPC Server is installed) should be running Windows 2000 (or higher).
The OPC Server software must be properly installed and registered, and the CIMPLICITY OPC Client device communications enabler must be properly installed within CIMPLICITY.
