OPC Client applications reference GagePort gage values using Item IDs. Items IDs uniquely reference a gage point value. Item IDs are constructed by using a client browse session or by explicitly typing the Item ID string.
This OPC Server supports one unique syntax form. The form is always three levels deep and separated by periods (.).
Note: The GagePort Mitutoyo OPC Server allows
only one gage hub or simple device per local serial port.
Multi-drop serial configurations are not supported. This limitation
is expressed in the supported Item ID syntax.
