Duplicate a Control.

Delete all the Controls in a dialog box.

Duplicate a Control

  1. Select the control to duplicate.

  2. Do one of the following.

Click Edit>Duplicate on the Dialog Editor menu bar.

Press Ctrl+D on the keyboard.

A duplicate copy of the selected control displays in your dialog box.

  1. Repeat 2 as many times as necessary to create the desired number of duplicate controls.

Result: The selected control is duplicated each time duplication is repeated.

Delete a Single Control

  1. Select the control to delete.

  2. Press Delete on the keyboard.

Result: The selected control is deleted from the dialog box.

Delete all the Controls in a Dialog Box

  1. Select the dialog box.

  2. Press Delete on the keyboard.

If the dialog box contains more than one control a message displays asking:

Do you want to delete all controls from the dialog box?

  1. Click the Yes button or press Enter on the keyboard.

Result: All the controls are deleted, but the dialog box's title bar and close box (if displayed) remain unchanged.
