Definition

Unique point identifier. Embedded spaces and special characters (other than $) are allowed. However, the standard format requires that the first character be alphabetic and the remaining characters be alphanumeric or underscore (no embedded spaces).

If a non-standard Point ID is used in an expression, (for example, for a derived point) the ID must be enclosed in quotation marks.
