The Proficy Portal control can share a CimView screen with other CIMPLICITY options.
The ability to use all of the items on the CimView screen may be effected when the Portal server is not running or is shut down.

Solution |
Do either of the following: Start the Proficy Portal Server You will be able to log in and access the Proficy Portal as well as set the CIMPLICITY point. Close the CimView screen. |

Solution |
Do either of the following. Restart the Proficy Portal Server Continue to: Use the CIMPLICITY objects on the CimView screen. Click to close the connection lost message boxes. |
