Step 2. Use the Create as Dialog Box to Create a New Project

The New Project dialog box provides you with the tool to

Enter the name and location of a new project and

Select product options and protocols that will be included in the project.

1	Use the Create in navigation field to select a directory in which CIMPLICITY will create the project.
2	Enter a unique project name in the Project field. Important The project name can contain up to 20 characters. The characters can be alphanumeric only. Errors will be returned when this limitation is violated.
3	Check the Options and Protocols that will be enabled when the project is created. You can change your selections whenever the project is not running.
4	Click Create.

Result: A Project Properties dialog box opens.
