<port>_SEA_HANDSHAKE_TIMEOUT/SEA_HANDSHAKE_TIMEOUT

When the SmartEye device is configured within CIMPLICITY to be in handshake mode, the device communication interface will query the device for status if no data has been received from the device within the configured interval.

If the device does not respond to the status, the SmartEye device will be marked down.

Global parameters to change the default (100 seconds) are as follows.

To specify the number of seconds of silence (on a project basis) that should pass before querying for status of the device to determine device availability.

 

If a port and project global are defined, the port level defined global will take precedence.

Value

Enter a value that is equal to the number of seconds of silence that should pass before querying for status of the device to determine device availability.

Default Value

100 seconds (of silence).
