Option 5.3.2. Select a System Option as the Text Object Data Source

System data provides data generated by the system.

  1. Select the Data Source tab in the Text Object Properties dialog box.

  2. Click System.

  3. The options are as follows.

Form Sequence Number

Sequence number of the broadcast; the number is set during runtime. It is useful to insure, for example, that printouts are in the correct order.

 

  1. Click Static.

  2. Enter a brief description of your selection in the text box.

  1. Click Apply.

  2. (Optional) Revise the font, border and position specifications to accommodate the text requirements.

Note: This can be done during any stage of the form design.

  1. Click OK.

Result: The static text entry displays in the editable form. When the form is broadcast, the dynamic selection will replace this text.
