Option 1.5.1. Place the PRT_UI Shortcut on the Windows Desktop

  1. Open Windows Explorer.

  2. Expand the Windows folder (e.g. WINNT).

  3. Go to the ...\Proficy CIMPLICITY\exe directory.

  4. Right-click prt_ui.exe.

  1. Select Create shortcut from the popup menu.

  2. Place the prt_ui shortcut icon onto your Windows desktop.

Result: The PRT User Interface shortcut displays on your Windows desktop.
