RCO Overview Graphic

RCO is an independent process that monitors control sites on the factory floor. Like a traffic cop directing traffic, RCO directs the flow of product through the manufacturing environment using 'decision-based logic'.

1

A site is triggered by an operator

2

Routing Logic Modules eliminate decisions based on current production conditions

Decision 1

Send dryer to Region 2

Heating unit installation.

Decision 2

Send dryer to Region 3

Temperature gauge installation.

Decision 3

Send dryer to Region 4

Motor installation.

3

Output Module sets point values sending the dryer to Region 4

4

The Control cycle ends and resets the control site to wait for the next trigger
