Configure Historian Data Source data types appropriately. See the Historian Electronic Books for more information about configuring data types for various data sources.

If configuring Historian for CIMPLICTY point data, configure tags as follows:

Important:  Configuring the wrong data type can cause truncation or unreported data.

Important: The Historian Collector does not collect the PTM_STRUCTURE, PTM_ALARMLIM, PTM_BITSTRING, or PTM_OCTETSTRING point types, and cannot collect array data.
