1. Select Points in the left pane.

2. Display a Search dialog box using any of the following methods.

Method 1

1. Click View on the Workbench menu bar.

2. Select Search.

Method 2

1. Place the cursor in the Workbench right pane.

2. Click the right mouse button.

3. Select Search.

Method 3

Click the Search button on the Workbench toolbar.

The Point search dialog box appears when you use any method.

3. Enter one of the following

An existing Point ID

Device ID, Resource and/or Point Type

Description that appears in a point's Properties dialog box, General tab, description field.
