Summary:
When you display the last alarm on a display page, the Citect client must poll the alarm server to check for the last alarm. If the client is communicating to the alarm server via CINet this may load up the network. This loading is very small when used with Ethernet networks but may impact on performance with CINet over slower serial links.

Solution:
If running CINet and you don't need the last alarm, disable the display of the last alarm by setting the [page] LastAlarm=0 parameter. This will reduce the network traffic over slow serial lines.
