Summary:
The Microsoft version of Novells IPX protocol, MSIPX has been found to be unstable under some loading conditions. Under these conditions Windows may stop responding (hang) and require a power cycle to restart. 

Solution:
If you experience computer freezes, then use Novel IPX protocol or upgrade to Windows for Workgroups 3.11
