Summary: |
You may get session timeout hardware errors under high network loading conditions. Under high loading, the network response time can experience short extended delays. During these delays, the network session may timeout and cause the 'Session Timeout' hardware error. The session will be reconnected automatically after a 20 second delay, however you will get unnecessary hardware errors. |
Solution: |
The network send timeout should be set to
15000 ms to solve this problem. To set this parameter put the
following lines in the CITECT.INI file.
[lan] The default send timeout has been changed from 3000 to 15000 in Citect for Windows Version 1.2 and 2.01 to 15000 so you don't have to set this option for these versions. |
