  • CitectSCADA 1.00, 1.01, 1.10, 1.11, 2.00, 2.01

Summary:
When you install Citect in the specified path, the install program will also create a directory in the root called KT. This directory contains programs used by the Allen Bradley KT driver. Because of the implementation of the AB KT driver from Allen Bradley, this directory must be in the root. This may cause problem when installing Citect on a Network as under some conditions as you may not have permission to do this.

Solution:
If you are installing Citect on a network volume you must have write permission to the root of the volume, so that the install program can create the x:\CITECT and x:\KT directories. Another solution is for your system administrator to create these directories and give you read/write permission to these directories.
