Summary:
Citect uses the group name 'CITECT STATION50' as its default NetBIOS name. Some NetBIOS implementations don't support group names correctly and you may get the error message 'Cannot Add NetBIOS Name <name> Error n'. If you get this error message every time you startup Citect, you can change they way Citect uses the NetBIOS name as detailed below.

You may also get this error if you don't shutdown Citect correctly, and try to restart without re-booting the computer. If Citect does not shutdown correctly, the NetBIOS name is not deleted correctly, and the next time Citect starts up, the adding of the NetBIOS name will fail.

Solution:
If you get this error every time then try setting the parameter [LAN] GroupName=0. With the parameter set, Citect will not add the group name 'CITECT STATION50' but will add the node name as specified by the parameter [LAN] node=<name>. This name must be unique on a network otherwise you will get the same error message when two computers startup with the same name.

If you only get this error message occasionally, or if Citect has not shutdown correctly, then reboot the computer. This will restart NetBIOS and allow Citect to startup correctly.
