Summary:
Problem: The size of the background text is different to the size of the animation text. Why is this so?

Solution:
Note that the animation font size is specified in Pixel size whereas the background text is specified in point size. If you specify animation size of 14 you will get text 14 pixels high, if you specify background text of 14 you will get 14 point, which will not be the same size. You can specify point size in the animation fonts by specifying -ve numbers. For example if you make the font size -14 Citect will display the animation font in 14 point.

If the size of a font is specified by point size, the physical size of the font will vary with different screen resolutions. It is preferable to specify animation text with a pixel size so that it will remain the same size.
