Summary:
If Citect is communicating to a AB 540 PLC via a KT card, you may get out of buffer space errors on the PLC. This will show up in Citect as driver error 0x10100 and the PLC will go offline. The PLC may recover and go back online, or you may have to restart Citect to bring the PLC back online. 

Solution:
This error is caused by problem in the AB 540 PLC's. You will need to get an upgrade of the ROMs for the 540 PLC from AB to fix this problem.
