Summary:
When importing DXF files, only the outline of the object is imported none of the colurs or patterns are imported.

Solution:
The DXF import in CtDraw only supports a subset of the AutoCad commands. It does not support patterns or colours - only basic outlines.

AutoCad files can contain very complex drawings which are very slow to display. This is incompatible with the requirements of a fast display in Citect. If you want to import a complex DXF file, first import the file into Corel Draw, then from Corel Draw import into CtDraw. As these files may be very slow to display, you should convert them into bitmaps for runtime display.
