Summary:
If you have selected a linked object, the menu option ungroup is not greyed out (even though you are not allowed to ungroup a linked object). When you select the ungroup option, it beeps to let you know that you can't do this - even though the menu option is not greyed out.

Solution:
Citect Draw does not grey out the menus for every case in which the command is invalid. In the majority of cases, the menus are greyed out when that command cannot be used. Some selections are very complex to detect, and it was decided not to update the menu in this case. If these selections where checked, it would slow the display of the menu. It was felt that slow menu displays would cause more problems for the users than occasional beeping when the selection was invalid. (If a menu item is invalid for the current selection, Citect Draw will beep to inform you when you click on the menu item. This will prevent you from using a command on an invalid selection.)
