Summary:
The MBPLUS and MODBUS protocol driver supports strings. Some systems expect to use a different byte order for their data, which in the case of string variables causes "ABCD" to appear as "BADC". 

Solution:
A solution to this problem has been provided in Versions 1.20 and 2.01. There is a new CITECT.INI option for the [MBPLUS] section. The option is StringReverse.

[MBPLUS]
StringReverse=1

For the MODBUS protocol use the following option:

[MODBUS]
StringReverse=1
