Summary:

Citect version 1.2 has a bug which may cause a General Protection Fault when you try to open a device to the printer.

Solution:

You may work around this problem by setting the parameter [DEVICE]LPTtoSpool=0. This parameter disables the redirection of the printers via the Citect print spooler. This will stop the GPF from occurring. Once you have an upgraded for this fix you should remove this options as disabling the print spooler will cause a degrading of performance. This problem only occurs in Citect for Windows version 1.2.
