Summary:
If you are using the CCM protocol to communicate to a GE series 6 or GE series 5 PLC and the interface card is a CCM1 you may get any of the following error messages:

Unit Off-line. cannot talk
Response bad or garbled
Unit not responding

You may also find that the communications fail after many hours of continuous operation (around 10 hours) and require you to reset the CCM1 card.

 

Solution:
