Summary: |
If Citect has been running without fault and then after you have experienced a power-failure Citect hangs or GPs on startup you may have the following problem. |
Solution: |
On startup Citect opens the SYSLOG.DAT
file, if this file get corrupted, Citect may hang or cause a GP
fault. The SYSLOG.DAT file is kept open at all times so this file
can become corrupted when a power failure occurs. The SYSLOG.DAT
file is stored in the Windows directory which is normally
C:\WINDOWS.
Do a SCANDISK to see if this file is reported to be cross-linked or corrupted, and simply delete this file. See also Q1122. |
