Summary:
Finding exact animation points can be difficult if they are
  • small and covered by large symbols.
  • moved off the page
  • hidden on a detailed page
  • not configured for animation

It may be important to know where an AN is if for example one of the first twenty animation points has been moved or used.

Solution:
If you know the AN has nothing configured for it then from CTEdit, add an easily recognisable symbol to the page. Open CTDraw and look for the symbol.

If there is configuration for it, for example a device status page where all symbols look the same, in CTEdit, add a record to another type of animation, ie Strings. This will display both the symbol and the string.

If it still cannot be found, change the size of the page in the 'Page Attributes' dialog box to a larger size and scroll the page around looking for it. Remember to restore that page size before saving the page.
