Summary:
Question: In article Q1355 you say that any alarms that are configured to alarm in 0 state will be tripped if the PLC has not come online correctly. Is this correct?

Solution:
This is a simplification of the alarm servers operation. Alarms configured to alarm in state 0 will only be tripped if the PLC has not come online if you don't have an alarm save file configured and don't have a Standby alarm server. Also in Version 3.0 and later the com break feature means that alarms will not be tripped if the PLC data has not been read correctly. This will prevent alarms in state 0 from being tripped if the PLC has not come online.
