Summary:
Question: I am using the AB Ethernet Interchange Driver and when I modify the INI options the protocol seems to ignore them. What is the cause of this problem. 

Solution:
The problem may be that you are using and alternative CITECT.INI file.

The alternative CITECT.INI file is incompatible with some of the protocols. This feature was added after many of the drivers where developed. These early drivers don't support the alternative CITECT.INI file at this time. In the future this feature will be added to these drivers.

To work around this problem don't use an alternative CITECT.INI file.
