Question: I am getting the compiler error TAG NOT FOUND however the tag is defined in the variables database.

Solution:

If the tag does exist in the variables database the cause for this error is most likely the database index is incorrect. This can be caused when you edit the variables database in Excel or some other database editor without updating the index. To re-index the database select the Pack command in the Project Editor.
