Summary:
When calling DevEof() to determine whether or not you have come to the end of a text file, it returns true well before the end of the file is reached. It seems that DevEof() grabs the next 255 characters in the device and searches for the end of file marker from that buffer. 

Solution:
This problem has been solved in Version 3.0.
