Summary:
If you are logging alarms or reports to a device which is on a network and the network file server fails and is then restarted, the logging will not restart. The device can be opened with DevOpen() however you will get the error 269 if you try to do anything with it. You must restart Citect to allow the logging to resume. 

Solution:
In Version 3.0 the logging spooler will retry to open devices which have failed every few minutes. This will allow logging to be restarted after a file server failure.
