Summary:
If you have a group consisting of a Ascii devices and a dBASE device and try to log to it using a report of format {tag1}{tag2}{tag3} etc. If you have a Line feed the text file will log ok but there will be an extra blank record in the dBASE file. If you have no linefeed the dBASE file works ok but the text file has only 1 line and all the data is on that line.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 1.00 to 2.10. This problem has been fixed in version 3.00 and later.

Solution:
To work around this problem you may do two unique writes to each device and not use the group. Change the format required for each of the output devices.

Use version 3.00 or later.
