Summary: |
When CtDraw upgrades a version 1.1x
database, it consumes 100% of systems resources. Eventually you get
a Sharing Violation on drive C: error. After the conversion is
complete the resources are freed, however while the conversion is
in progress all resources are consumed causing the conversion to
fail.
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 2.00 to 2.10. This problem has been fixed in version 3.00 and later. |
Solution: |
You may work around this problem by splitting your database into several smaller databases of fewer pages and convert each one. You may then combine the converted databases back into your original format. You may also use version 3.0 to do the upgrade. |
