Summary: |
If you make all the files in the Citect
projects directory read only, Citect runtime will not be able to
display the pages. Making all the files read only is useful when
you want to restrict the users access to these files.
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 2.00 to 2.10. This problem has been fixed in version 3.0 and later. |
Solution: |
In version 2.00 to version 2.10 Citect runtime opened the graphic CTG files in read/write mode when it only needed to open them in read only mode. If the files where made read only then Citect runtime could not open the files and the graphic pages could not be displayed. In version 3.0 and later Citect runtime opens the graphic CTG files in read only mode, so you may make all the files in the project directory read only. |
