Summary:
StrToReal will not convert the number if the first characters is a period. For example StrToReal(".01") will return 0. It should return .01. It works ok for other strings "0.01".

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 1.00 to 2.10. This problem has been fixed in version 3.00 and later.

 

Solution:
Use Citect for Windows version 3.0.
