Summary:
If you use ctdraw to configure linked symbols you get the symbols flashing. I configured 4 digital tags, 4 records using 00A for the symbol name and in 000 I put -1, I also tried -1 in every other field ad also leaving everything except 00A blank. Nothing worked.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 2.00 to 2.01. This problem has been fixed in version 2.10 and later.

 

Solution:
Use version 2.10 and later.
