Summary:
If you get the error "Cannot Open" in a drop down combo box on any form in CtEdit, then the database which contains this information cannot be opened. If you are using Windows version 3.1 this can be caused if SHARE is not loaded correctly. You don't need to load SHARE if you are using Windows for Workgroups 3.11 or later. 

Solution:
Load SHARE correctly in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file or use Windows for Workgroups 3.11
