Question: When using the Taylor MOD 30 protocol I would like to use standard mnemonic names such as CSPSTA and CACTMD.MAN instead of B2/26 and B2/70.MAN. Is this possible? |
Solution: |
This can be done by using labels. Contact
CITECT support to get a copy of the include project which have all
the standard Taylor MOD 30 mnemonics names defined. Include this
project in your project and you can now use mnemonic names instead
of block/byte addressing.
This label substitution feature for variable names is enabled by the bit mask option 0x10000 in PROTDIR.DBF. This feature can be used in any protocols by adding this option to the specific protocol in PROTDIR.DBF. |
