Summary:
Question: Can global variables be accessed from an open cicode window? 

Solution:
No you cannot access any global cicode variables from the cicode windows. The only way to set them would be to write a cicode function and then call that function. Citect for Windows version 3.0 will allow indirect tag addressing so this could be done to PLC variables with this version.
