Summary:
When running the express wizard to configure new PLC's resource leakage can occur and multimedia viewer DLL's can become locked in memory even though multimedia viewer is no longer running.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows version 3.00. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.

 

Solution:
The problems of resource leakage and modules not being released is tied in with the behaviour of multimedia viewer and not Citect for Windows. The problem occurs only when using the express wizard. You may free any lost resources by restarting Windows.
