Summary:
When upgrading a large project with many complex pages after update pages ran some of my pages came up blank. Why did this happen and how can I restore them?

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows version 3.00. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.

Solution:
If this problem happens the following procedure should allow you to recover upgraded versions of the corrupted pages. First identify the corrupted pages in your upgraded project. Now, say for example, that your current upgraded project was restored to PROJECTA. Restore a second version of the project to PROJECTB. Now run Graphics Builder and when asked to "update pages now" answer "no". Delete all the pages that where updated correctly in PROJECTA from PROJECTB. You can delete pages from graphics builder by selecting File-Open from the menu, selecting a page from the pages list box and pressing the delete button. Now update the pages by selecting Tools-Update Pages from the menu in Graphics Builder. After the update is complete check that the pages were updated correctly and copy the recovered pages to PROJECTA overwriting the corrupted equivalents. Repeat this procedure until all pages have been recovered. Note that it may be necessary to recover lost pages one by one.
