Summary:
Question: When exporting to a trend to a DBF file the CPU usage sits at 100% for a number of seconds. Is this likely to cause any problems?

Solution:
The cicode schedular has been improved in Version 3.0 to make more efficient use of your CPU resources. What the cicode schedular is doing is making the most of your CPU by using as much as is available to do this intensive operation. You will find than exporting trend data to a DBF file can take quite a few seconds to complete, during this time the CPU loading will go to 100% while this operation is executed as fast as possible, without slowing down any other critical Citect task. So the CPU going to 100% is quite normal and causes no problems.

See Q1457 for more information on the cicode scheduler.
