Summary:
Question: With the setup program it is possible to specify a directory name with a dot in it. For example 'c:\Citect3.0'. However Citect cannot open any projects in this directory. Is this supported ?

However Citect project editor, graphics builder and runtime do not support such directory names. The difference is that the setup program is a third party program and Citect has little control over its procedures. Therefore such a directory name looks valid to the setup program.

 

Solution:
Citects project editor, graphics builder and runtime do not support such directory names. Do not install Citect to a directory with a dot in it.
